Wikipedia defines Inertia as: Inertia is the resistance an object has to a change in its state of motion.
I like this word better than the terms: Prcrastination, or well, lazy. lol *blush*
Lay Down Your Burdens!
I recieved this today on a list I am part of. It’s beautiful and I wanted to share it with you. *hugz*
We all know the feeling of walking through life as if we are
carrying the huge burden of our worries and stresses on our backs
and shoulders, struggling to keep moving forward. There is no real
way to move freely and fluidly in such a situation, and we are all
longing to lay our burdens down. Just imagining that it would be
possible to do such a thing can be enough to elicit a sigh of relief
and a feeling of lightness.

A new law being pushed in Canada by Big Pharma seeks to outlaw up to 70 percent of natural health products currently sold in Canada, even while criminalizing parents who give herbs or supplements to their children. I see this online a LOT. Some days it makes me grin, other times it makes me growl. *sigh* I will do my level best to NOT rant and rave here. *blush*
I idea behind this statement from many, both psychics and others, is that if the gift is freely received than it should be freely shared. Not a concept I am against by any means. The trouble I have with this is simply who says it’s a ‘gift’?

What is Wicca?
What is Wicca
Recently I was part of a discussion about this question. As a trained, but not actively practicing, Wiccan priestess, I have found myself disappointed with my own answer. lol
Wicca is a young religion with very old and wonderful roots. It is often referred to as the gateway, or entry level ‘pagan’ path. This is mostly because it is one of the most prevalent and well known of the pagan paths. This does not mean that it is less than other paths, or that it is lacking in any way.
The only real trouble with Wicca, that I can see, is that it shares some of the same roots as Christianity and that makes it both more comfortable for new comers to the pagan path, but also very uncomfortable to those same people as they grow. This only happens however when those that have explored Wicca only do a very cursory or ‘scratch the surface’ exploration.

I use it on my site simply because it is the most common and best known term for what I do. In order for people that need my help to find me, I HAVE to use the most common term. *sigh*
